About Windy Bluff Farm
🌾About Windy Bluff Farm: Faith, Family, and Farming
Hello! I’m Sarabeth, and I run Windy Bluff Farm alongside my family in Middle Tennessee. I wear many hats here, but my mission is simple: To blend the science of my education with the wisdom of old-fashioned farming to raise healthy livestock and craft truly natural products. As a God-loving, homeschooling mom and a working farmer, I understand the commitment required to raise a family and run a sustainable operation.
🔬 Rooted in Science and Experience
Unlike many homestead bloggers, my passion for the farm is backed by formal study. I hold a B.S. degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Biology, and Chemistry. This education is not just a piece of paper—it’s the lens through which I approach every decision on the farm, ensuring our herd health, breeding protocols, and product formulations are precise and safe.
Goat, Livestock and Animal Health: I use my Pre-Vet, Chemistry and Biology knowledge to manage parasites, create detailed, scientifically-vetted dosing protocols (like our copper bolus method) and manage our farm animals as naturally as possible.
Farm-to-Skin Natural Products: My Chemistry background is critical for safely formulating products like our Cold Process Soap, old fashioned farmstead goat milk soaps and proprietary herbal salves, ensuring purity and potency.
Trusted Education: High-authority guides and courses on goat care, shelter design, animal health and care and our Beginner Farmhouse Soap Course, designed to give you guaranteed success so you can focus on building your own homestead life.
Herbalism: I am also a dedicated herbalist and a DōTerra wholesale distributor, focusing on creating effective natural remedies that work in conjunction with modern science.
🐐 Our Mission: Knowledge Rooted in the Dirt
Our commitment to dairy animals is deeply personal: we are descendants of Italian immigrants who came from a family farm specializing in dairy, where growing their own food was the standard. This heritage means our standards for animal husbandry, ingredient quality, and sustainability are not just professional—they are generational.
At Windy Bluff Farm, we raise ADGA-registered Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats, heritage chickens, donkeys, livestock guardian dogs, some other uncommon pets and strive for a sustainable simple life. This site is my way of sharing the detailed, practical, and honest information I've learned from both the classroom and the field.
Thank you for joining our farm family. I hope you find the knowledge you need here to make your own homestead life a little simpler, safer, and healthier! Join the newsletter here and find our natural goat milk soaps and farm products here .
